Our experienced recruitment team source suitable candidates, interview them, make
sure they fit your job specification and refer them on to you for final interviews.
We make recruiting apprentices easy and our training team will ensure that the apprentice
develops the exact skills required.
What's Involved?
Apprenticeships are made up of a framework of qualifications including: National
Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Key Skills and Technical Certificates.
We offer Apprenticeships in a wide range of occupational areas:
|
All assessment and training is carried out within the workplace. One of our highly
skilled assessors will be assigned to the learner(s) and will meet with them on
a fortnightly basis. This process is non interruptive and there are various assessment
techniques which can be adapted to suit any learning style and working environment.
Workshops on SBC premises are offered throughout the duration of the course, the
learner would be expected to attend 4 workshops. This process is designed to develop
the underpinning knowledge of the subject.
All SBC require from the employer is their ongoing support and understanding. SBC
like to maintain an ongoing contact with the employer, this will ensure that progression
is being monitored effectively and any concerns are addressed.
Once the apprenticeship is complete it is the decision of both the employer and
the learner whether a permanent position is offered.
A company offering a placement would need to employ the learner and pay them a minimum
of £110 per week training wage, although SBC like to encourage regular review of
this wage. The apprenticeship should take 9-12 months to complete.
