Electro Technical Services
This qualification has been designed for those working in Electro Technical Services.
To achieve the award learners must complete four mandatory units which cover:
- Ensure safe electrical site working
- Diagnose and correct electrical faults
- Provide technical and functional information
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
The mandatory units cover those areas which have a common approach, such as safety and team working. The occupational units offer a choice that can be combined to meet the needs of organisation and the learner.
Level 3
The Level 3 NVQs are based on a mandatory unit structure for the different occupational areas which facilitates opportunities for enhancement and transfer of competence from one electrotechinical occupation to another.
