We have just launched our first sector based work academy in Health and Social Care.  This new initiative is designed to give unemployed people the skills and confidence to take up work in the sector. A group of learners will spend 6 weeks studying with SBC Training for a Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care and gaining first-hand experience with local employers. At the end of the course all will be given the opportunity of a job interview.  Good luck to all the learners who are commencing the course.
