Covid-19: Guidance

This page was last updated Wednesday 18 March 2020.

In view of the updated guidance provided by government yesterday. SBC Training will be closed to all apprentice groups with effect from Monday 23rd March 2020. The centre will remain open in line with current and emerging government advice for the support of individuals who are identified as Vulnerable. Trainers will make contact with individuals who are due for assessments to make arrangement for these to take place in a safe and effective manner. We are in the process of identifying alternative teaching and learning arrangements which will be communicated over the course of the next few days. Please check this webpage regularly for our latest updates.

We are acting in accordance with government guidelines:The symptoms to look for are a fever AND/OR a persistent cough.

If you or anyone in your household have these symptoms all people in your household should remain at home for 14 days.

After 14 days, you or anyone you live with who does not have symptoms can return to their normal routine.

If anyone in your home gets symptoms, that individual should stay at home for 7 days from the day their symptoms start. Even if it means they're at home for longer than 14 days.

Please do not come to our centre unless you have been invited to attend. You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire on arrival to confirm that it is safe for you to enter, failure to comply will require you to return home.
