Covid-19: Continuity Arrangements
This page was last updated Friday 12 March 2021.
SBC Training centres in Shrewsbury and Oswestry reopened for the delivery of face to face practical training and assessments from Monday 8th March 2021. The provision of a wide range of training will continue to be delivered digitally in line with the business requirements of the employer organisations that we support.
Should you require any reassurance regarding training arrangements, please contact your appointed trainer initially for any further guidance or alternatively contact Rhian Chadwick (Quality Manager) here.
We have an exciting programme of courses available for enrolment now, with start dates planned following the Easter period. All face to face course delivery shall commence in adherance with an extensive risk assessment to ensure the safety of our learners and staff which is available to read here: Covid19 Risk Assessment.
Where appropriate, Trainer/Assessors will continue to maintain regular contact with learners/apprentices to carry on with learning plans adapted for working at a distance. Trainers will make contact with individuals who are due for end point assessment to provide the most up to date guidance for these to take place in a safe and effective manner. Alternative teaching and learning arrangements will have been communicated but if any further support is required in the first instance contact your appointed Trainer/Assessor.
