Covid-19: Continuity Arrangements

This page was last updated Friday 8 January 2021.

SBC Training centres in Shrewsbury and Oswestry and those of our partner in Telford are currently closed for the delivery of face to face training. The centres will remain closed to all but those deemed vulnerable until after the next government review for England planned for week commencing 15 February 2021.

All apprentices and other learners should have been contacted to offer alternative on-line support. Please contact your appointed trainer initially for any further guidance or alternatively contact Rhian Chadwick (Quality Manager) here.

We hope to reopen as soon as possible when we shall recommence operations in adherance with an extensive risk assessment to ensure the safety of our learners and staff which is available to read here: Covid19 Risk Assessment.

Trainers/Assessors will still maintain regular contact with learners to carry on with learning plans adapted for working at a distance. Trainers will make contact with individuals who are due for end point assessment to provide the most up to date guidance for these to take place in a safe and effective manner.  Alternative teaching and learning arrangements will have been communicated but if any further support is required in the first instance contact your appointed Trainer/Assessor.
