Covid-19: Continuity Arrangements
This page was last updated Thursday 11 June 2020.
Closely following Government guidance, SBC Training has begun to re-open the centre to some of our learners.
We have carried out an extensive risk assessment to ensure the safety of our learners and staff which is available to read here: Covid19 Risk Assessment.
Over the last few weeks, we have been busy preparing the centre to allow a limited number of learners to attend training and to complete assessments. Sanitising Stations have been placed throughout the centre and in the training rooms. Signage throughout the building provides clear guidance and training rooms are set out to meet social distancing guidance.
Trainers/Assessors will still maintain regular contact with learners to carry on with learning plans adapted for working at a distance. Trainers will make contact with individuals who are due for end point assessment to provide the most up to date guidance for these to take place in a safe and effective manner. Alternative teaching and learning arrangements will have been communicated but if any further support is required in the first instance contact your appointed Trainer/Assessor.
