Access to £10 million European Funding pot for SMEs
SBC Training is celebrating being contracted to deliver part of a £10 million pot of European funding which is available to support the training requirements of SMEs across the Marches. The funding pot entitled Employee Support in Skills, is available to organisations employing less than 250 and can be used for non-accredited short courses and a range of qualifications.
Colin Thaw, Managing Director of SBC Training commented, ‘This is hugely exciting for us and for more than 90% of employers in the Marches who are SMEs. The Marches has productivity levels below the national average and we have already been in conversation with clients to ensure the funding is directed where it can have maximum impact to help individuals meet the changing skills needs of the future‘.
The first round of scheduled training will focus on Business, Management and Health Care but to influence future rounds, employers from other sectors including Engineering, Manufacturing, Digital and Logistics are encouraged to get in touch to discuss how their training needs can be met.
