Congratulations to Health and Social Care Achievers

Congratulations to employees in Health and Social Care who have continued with their studies throughout the Coronavirus crisis and are now completing their qualifications. When the pandemic began it was not possible for tutors from SBC Training to visit learners in their workplace and all the learning and tutorials moved on-line. However with the pressure which Care Organisations were experiencing it was expected that many would have to put their programmes on hold, but that was not the case. Debbie Garbett, Programme Co-ordinator commented “Most of our learners have been keen to try to progress their studies and being in touch on-line at times to suit them has proved successful. It is wonderful to see them completing qualifications at levels two and three in Health and Social Care with staff from Surecare, Newport Cottage Care and Trident Reech leading the way”

It has been encouraging to see that new staff have been inspired to join the Health and Social Care profession during the crisis and it is hoped that that trend will continue. To support this SBC Training is pleased to announce access to additional European funding to provide those new staff with training and qualifications. If employers or staff in Health and Social Care would like to know more about the funding available they should email enquiries@sbc-training.co.uk or telephone 01743 454810.
