SBC Traineeship
Traineeships are a great opportunity to gain the skills and confidence to progress into apprenticeships and work. A valuable period of work experience to complement a range of training that will prepare you to take steps into your first job role.
At SBC Training we use our expertise in the field of apprenticeships and work-based learning to develop a course offer that will put you in the best place to secure an apprenticeship having developed the skills that will set you apart from other young people. The SBC Traineeship is designed around the needs of employers and is built around topics that meet a wide range of potential work placements.
The course will prepare you with foundation knowledge and skills in the following subject areas:
- Administration
- Customer service
- Accounts
- ICT
- Marketing
In addition, we will also support you to gain the employment application skills that allow you to be on top form for when that work opportunity arises.
Maths, English and IT skills are an important factor in progressing in the workplace. The SBC Traineeship will provide you with the environment to improve your CV and get you ready to find the right employer to help you start of in the world of business.
After your course induction period, you will spend 2 days per week with SBC Training in Shrewsbury or Oswestry and the balance of your time with a matched employer placement. Employers will vary, but all will provide you with an opportunity to develop your knowledge and practice your business skills. You will be expected to be presentable, polite and provide support to your employer. In return you will be provided with a valuable work experience placement that will enhance your CV which we hope will lead towards the offer of a full-time apprenticeship role.
You will receive support to cover the costs of travel to your workplace and incidental expenses.
