What's Involved
The apprentice will complete the Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing alongside a portfolio of evidence through a blended learning model which will enable preparation for end-point assessment which includes:
Delivery
Following enrolment, learners engage in a blended programme of training and support that will include attendance at group training sessions on a day release (or block release) basis, work-based learning, email and face-to-face support from their trainer/assessor as well as a programme of training devised by the employer.
The end-point assessment is the final stage of the apprenticeship and takes place once the learner has achieved the Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing. It comprises either an observation or a professional discussion.
The length of the programme will differ depending on experience, knowledge and skills development along with the industry skills selected however the course is targeted for completion within 13 months.

Avenues of progression include:
- Further learning in Manufacturing (Level 3 and above)
- Employment opportunities and career progression
