Celebrating Harry's Apprenticeship Achievement!
Harry Flack has recently completed his Bricklayer apprenticeship, achieving a Distinction in his oral exam!
When asked about his apprenticeship, Harry shared:
“I have had a great time with SBC Training. The small class sizes and one-to-one training gave me lots of support. I started my apprenticeship with no knowledge or skills in bricklaying, and they taught me everything I know. I would also like to thank the late Andy Perkins, who inspired me greatly and was a driving force in my training. Looking ahead, I am excited to experience different types of brickwork, work with other types of bricks and travel around the country with my bricklaying.”
We are delighted to see Harry progress into self-employed work under the guidance of his mentor at Persimmon Homes, where he will continue to develop his skills and experience.
Harry’s mentor, Graham, said:
“Congratulations to Harry. He has been an outstanding apprentice, always punctual and a great team player. Harry has gone through a complete transformation, starting with no skills or knowledge in bricklaying. He now has strong fundamentals and will continue to build on these in his new role.”
Harry’s trainer and assessor, Stu Reynolds, added:
“Harry has always put his head down and got on with any job in hand. He produced excellent evidence towards his theory work, achieving a distinction to reflect his effort. He was a great addition to the workshop floor and always took the time to help both Mark and myself.”
We are incredibly proud of Harry’s achievement and wish him every success as he progresses in his bricklaying career.
